Lane's Seafood and Steak House

I have been here about three times, and every time was delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, the wait staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable! Plenty of stuff to choose from, but I’m just a steak and seafood guy. So if that’s you, this is your place! Keep up the good work!

This place is so nice and home-y feeling. Staff is always smiling and the food is good. Love the view as the outside is very pretty. Price is not bad! They have a wine "bar" up front so you can get a glass as you are waiting and they have a horse ride for the little kids (it's free). Nice little touches like that is why I enjoy going there.

Excellent service. Beautiful grounds. My husband & I had fried flounder & were disappointed with the portions. I usually order the small plates but I was really hungry so it's a good thing I got the large. 3 small thin strips of fish. It was good but not great.

Lane's is a favorite to meet up with friends for dinner. Not only is the food always delicious, but you can have a conversation at your table and hear each other. It would be so easy to fill up on the complimentary hush puppies because they are addictive, but don't. You want plenty of room for your dinner. I usually order the rib eye steak and my husband prefers the catfish. The steak has so much flavor, I never have to use steak sauce. If you go on Thursday night, the special is beef tips with rice and gravy. The times I've ordered them, I've never bitten into gristle or fat. I apologize for not remembering our waiter's name, he has always been attentive and pleasant.
