An interesting decision for dinner. The restaurant is set up great and has a good location. Prices are decent. A few reasons it'll be hard to convince my S.O. to return:
Portions are a bit weak, particularly with the food truck tacos and the burrito. The taste was there though I'd add. The noodles Must be less cooked in the lobster mac dish. They were far too soft. It'd be awesome otherwise.
The service was friendly, but slow. Prompt replies after we requested refills, but we shouldn't have to ask imo. Also, please write down the orders. We did appreciate the waitress splitting our tacos to 2 plates - thoughtful.
This was on our most recent visit. We've been before, and will return for sure knowing these tips, that'd make the place an easy decision, are considered. Thanks!
Great meal, friendly staff, excellent menu. Enjoyed a nice North Carolina day on the outdoor patio. Pet friendly with our friends dog getting great treatment as well!!
Very yummy! Food was reasonably priced, fresh, and delicious. Cute and simple decor with attentive and friendly staff. Staff gave a great food recommendation. Bonus: Cheerwine on fountain.
Husband got their equivalent of a Cuban and I got the steak Philly. We split and shared and man was it good! Probably the best Philly I have had. My son was unhappy that they didn't have friend chicken tenders but he did love the fruit cup. My daughter got the kids chicken and cheese quesadilla and it came on a corn tortilla. It was new and different but really good. Fries were excellent as well. Great stop!
Great place for laid back socializing with excellent food and super friendly service. I'll admit, I'm hard to please when it comes to burgers. I'm one of "those horrible people" who want it cooked medium well, but I know it's difficult to do so and end up with something other than a hockey puck. Well, their "Feed your head" burger was the most delicious burger I had ever had. It was cooked to perfection! Juicy, but not overly greasy, satisfying without weighing you down. And the fries are some of the best I've ever put in my mouth! Perfectly crispy and seasoned. My husband had shrimp & grits with a lemon cream sauce that he raved about, and it's family friendly enough that my 14 month old grandson enjoyed himself the whole time! If burgers aren't your thing, they have plenty of other creative, quirky, delicious dishes! I'm thinking we need to make this a weekly thing, so we can work through all the menu items that appeal to us. I love to see a local business hustle, put out good product, and be successful, and it seems they have it down.
