    Friendly staff, yummy food, and delicious coffee! We love having The Gilded Pear in downtown Smithfield! Oh, and the decorations / atmosphere are wonderful.

    My husband and I are absolutely in love with Gilded Pear! We have been a few times and have tried something different every time. We have yet to be disappointed in food or drink. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer oat milk for coffees. This is something I prefer and can't get at any other coffee place around. We will certainly be frequent customers at Gilded Pear!

    Went to the Gilded Pear this morning for breakfast and found a warm, inviting spot loaded with charm! Their menu had so many options that while I was consuming my delicious sweet crepe I was planning my next meal with them. Staff is friendly, everything is spotless. The chickpea salad was off the charts amazing. The pimento cheese is a fantastic topper for literally anything. And the drip coffee was brewed to perfection. Can’t wait to go back!

    Super delicious! I'm not a big coffee guy but I love breakfast food. My fiancee is not a big foodie but she loves her coffee. We both left extremely satisfied. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to slow down and enjoy a nice relaxing atmosphere while eating delicious food and supporting a small business.

    We absolutely love this cute shop! My kids love the bubble waffles, and I love the avocado English muffin! The coffee is divine.
