La Dolce Vita Pizzeria

The pizza is fabulous. I don't eat there anymore though, and now always order it to go. Every time I've been the staff is slow. They have always taken a while to take the orders to begin with and usually take equally as long to bring our drinks.

The first time I went I asked to try two beers first and was given a hard time and the statement that usually they would ask my to order a flight instead of trying beers before ordering. So, I ordered a flight which I assumed included 4 beers, (the waitress was unsure when I asked how many, but I named 4). She returned after writing them the first time because she couldn't recall all of the names, and I renamed the 4. Later, (moments before the food arrived) I was finally brought 3 glasses by the bartender, who when questioned which 3 it was given the reply "it's the 3 you ordered."

The other two times I dined in I was met with equally disappointing and slow service.

The stuffed portabello was a sad single mushroom swimming in a cheesy soupy sauce. The sandwich was soggy. Just go for the pizza and you'll be satisfied.

Excellent local Italian Food Restaurant with lots of food offerings besides Pizza. Great salads and pasta dishes. They also have Gluten Free Pizza and pastas. Highly recommend for dinner or lunch. Also large selection of local beers on tap on their spigot wall. Restaurant is set in an old Post Office, which they've incorporated some items in the decor.

The location was interesting and nicely kept, the service was friendly, attentive and generally excellent. The calzone I enjoyed was very well made (nice texture on the crust, generous filling with toppings and certainly large enough for me), my one small surprise was the extra charge for dipping marinara sauce (very tasty!) which I'm used to have included. Overall very pleased with the experience!

Love their new location!! So beautiful and much bigger space. They still manage to keep the small personal feel that was so amazing with the last location. The staff is always so sweet and friendly. We enjoy each visit we have had!
