Coopers Restaurant & Wine Room

We went to Coopers tonight to have dinner for my birthday. My husband had made reservations. Upon arrival we were sat down quickly and given water. Our waitress brought us bread, only problem was the bread wasn’t warmed all the way through. It came with a slab of butter and some oil. Next, our crab cakes, they were good. Our salads came out and to be honest, they were very small. Sadly, some of the lettuce was brown. The best part of the meal for me personally was the filet. It came out cooked perfectly and the potatoes were delicious. Even the broccoli was great. Sadly, our drinks were empty most of the dinner course. Our waitress was ok. I feel like for the price is on the higher end for the presentation and amount of food/quality of food.

Coopers has become one of our go-to restaurants downtown. They have excellent service, and a well designed menu that caters to all palettes. From craft cocktails to southern fare, there’s something for everyone!

Brittany was wonderful. She made our dining great. The food was spectacular. Way outside the norm for this part of the state!!! Ive longed for gourmet restaurants close to where I’m from, When I visit my mother as I’m a foodie. The crabcakes were as good as I’ve had in Baltimore Maryland or at some of the best restaurants in Chicago where I live. My pork chop was cooked perfect medium unlike most places in this part of the world that over cook the pork. The collards brought me home! Wine selection amazing I’ll definitely be back here soon!!!!! And even better the chef was open to accommodate my brothers dietary restrictions

Absolutely amazing. The presentation on the plates was amazing. The different sauces were incredible! Gordon Ramsey could come here and be impressed I'm sure!!! The music was perfect for dancing away my best birthday ever!!
