A Southern gem next to a gas station! The food is fresh and reliably good, service is friendly and surprisingly quick, considering we were in a large party. Deserts are made in-house and are to die for. Save room, definitely!
We were seated immediately. The service was fabulous. There was something on the menu to please just about anyone. The smells of the foods being served made my mouth water while we waited for our food to be served. We didn't have to wait long and my food was indescribably delicious. I suggest you save space for dessert, which was every bit as good as the food. The cool thing about this restaurant is that it is connected to a gas station. Finding it was like finding hidden treasure. We will definitely become regulars.
One of the best meals I have ever had. Wonderful service, Crab Bisque soup is to die for. Excellent entree’s and Mouth Watering deserts. Italian Wedding Cake is the Best I have ever had. This is a Cash Only Restaurant in a gas station. Yea, I said it correct! A Gas Station. I will go out of my way to come to Franklin NC just to eat here.
Don't judge a book by its cover. I ended up here on the recommendation of a friend of a friend, without much choice in the matter. When I arrived in a gas station parking lot, next to a pawn shop at 1:00 pm on a Saturday, and was told I'd be waiting for 20 minutes for a table, I started to wonder why we drove 40 minutes to visit this restaurant. I was able to make it inside and immediately had to use the restroom, which is sadly actually the gas station facilities.
However, as soon as you make it back to your seat, you start to notice the unique and interesting decorations, the professionalism of the waitstaff, and the delicious looking dishes on your neighbor's tables. The menu was huge, with plenty of options for the adventurous or the timid. The lunch portions were very generous, and the food was delicious. Try the crab bisque. Overall, it was a great experience and I would gladly go out of my way again to eat here.
I have been going to Caffe Rel since they opened.
The food is superbly delicious.
I've tried most of their meals and sandwiches and have always been pleased with their quality.
Never left without being totally satisfied with the service and entrees.
The deserts are extremely good.
I recommend this place to people all the time.
