Graff's Tavern

Found this on Google maps as a lunchtime midway point between Atlanta and Gatlinburg with excellent ratings. After our lunch today, we concur with the high rating.

We tried the Brussels Sprout appetizer and two shrimp basket lunch specials. Great deal for lunchtime.

Shrimp were some of the best we’ve had, especially for North Carolina mountains. Nice breading, fried perfectly, served warm with fresh crisp French fries. Cocktail sauce had some zip like I like it. Tartar sauce equally tasty. Brussels Sprout appetizer cooked well and tasty with balsamic and Parmesan.

Excellent place to come if you're in the area. We had gotten the wings and they were the best that we've have had in quite a few years from a restaurant. The owner himself came out and greeted us which was a pleasure as well.

Our first time visit and the owner came out and chatted with us. Told us his passion and wanting to be in our area. Very friendly staff always making sure you are good, food, drink refills etc. We have been back several times and every dish we try is AMAZING! We’ve had burgers, shrimp (btw are huge and plentiful) and wings! The atmosphere is welcoming and casual. You sit down where ever you want as soon as you walk in. Full bar too!! Great specials during the day! This place is a MUST check out and a big asset to our little town!

Bar tender was great, she made this new drink that had gin that taste like roses!!!!!!! The chicken was so moist and flavorful and shrimp and grits was so good! Highly recommend if your in Franklin NC.

Good food, great service. A couple video games to keep the kids occupied. Bar area.
