Lakes End Cafe & Grill and Marina

We rented a pontoon boat there a couple days while we were there on vacation. It was really easy to book online. The pontoon boats we had were in great shape. They ran perfevtly and were nice and clean. Our boys(6 and 9 years old) had a blast tubing. We explored most of the lake in 2 days. The service was excellent. The folks working at Lakes End Cafe Grill and Marina were so nice and helpful. What a lovely gem of a place.

Awesome Sweet Tea...

Started out poorly but John and his staff made up for it. Dock crew was very good, especially Aaron. He's a keeper. Ended up having a great day on the lake and the food was good.

This is a very friendly, clean, and welcoming restaurant. My husband and I stayed nearby on vacation and ate here daily. The food was excellent and having a view of the lake from the outdoor seating deck made it even better. My husband and I would recommend any of their wraps if you plan on hiking or horseback riding later as they are not heavy but are really good. I thought the cheeseburger was pretty standard while the fries were excellent. My husband ordered the ribs and pulled pork one night and didn't stop raving about them for almost 24 hours. The only very slight negative is that sometimes the restaurant is empty and sometimes it's packed and there's no rhyme or reason to it. My guess is since the marina is downstairs that the busy times are when people are bringing back their boat rentals. If you go and it's packed expect to wait maybe an extra 10 minutes for your food. Don't stress; just enjoy the view.
