Hickory Tavern

We were sent to here from another hickory tavern that ran out of steak. The service was speedy and the wait staff were friendly. The steak was delicious. It was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this establishment

We celebrated my son's 16 birthday on Saturday from 6PM to 9PM and it was GREAT! We had dinner on the patio/deck. When we got there the area was clean and the tables were set up very nicely. We ordered chicken quesadilla and pretzel appetizers, and for our entrees we ordered chicken tenders, wings, and grad burgers, all with french fries. The food was very good and the customer service was excellent! I gave it a four star because the area smelled of cigarette smoke (the restaurant allows smoking on the deck after 9PM). Once I spoke with the manager, he opened the drapes to air the area which helped a little. I considered having the event at the Harris Hickory Tavern but I am happy that we had it at the Mallard location! I definitely recommend and will return!

I visited this establishment to have a descent lunch. When entering I was seated immediately and my waiter arrived within a short amount of time. My order was fairly simple but somehow it came out tasting very bland. But yet still edible. The problem came when I waited and waited and then had to hunt down my waiter to pay my bill so I could leave. What happened to my great server and timely service for the full lunch period?

Had a great time!! Met up with some friends. I had a tab at the bar. The bartender was great and service was quick for a drink refills even though the bar was about full. The server that my friends had seemed to be really nice, and my friends did not have any complaints about the food that they had ordered.
