I loved everything! They greeted us at the door with a friendly smile , she explained the menu which made us easy for us to order . I ask the person taking my order what were her favorites and she made some delicious recommendations. Everything Thad flavor , I liked how fresh the tortillas were , the queso bites were so good and my carnitas burrito. I would definitely go back again ! My mom loves the leftovers I brought her .

Capital Tacos is now open in the Charlotte area!
We traveled a bit to come try this new Tex-Mex spot. The food was very good! We were greeted as we came in, and the menu was explained to us. Quite a variety of choices from Chicken, Ground Beef, Tofu, Pork, and a Cheesesteak style Beef. I had a Chicken Fajita Taco, Pork Taco, and Chicken Taco. All 3 were very good! The Pork (Carnita’s) was cooked perfectly. Very flavorful! I’m not a fan of Cumin which the sauce that came with it had, so I pushed that part aside, but the flavor of the Pork more than made up for it. The Chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked. My Wife got the Steak Quesadilla, which was a gigantic portion - the shell it’s made with is huge!! Lots of both meat and cheese.
Overall it was a very good meal! The pinball machine I’ve got to say was really annoying in the background when the place was quiet. Once it got busy it wasn’t as bad, but still, I don’t see it’s place there at all. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service was quick, but not fast food quick, as the meal is prepared in the back kitchen.
    I wish them luck!!

Was just ok for me. I didn’t really get a “wow” factor of anything that would make them stand out from other places like this. My shrimp taco was good tho, flavorful. But the beef taco was cold and basic to me. Chicken taco was decent, but wasn’t overwhelmed, shrimp one was definitely my fave. I tried the fried cheesecake and definitely needed to be fried longer. Outside was hot but inside was still ice cold. I’ll give a bit of grace period since they did just open and every restaurant has some kinks at the beginning. I’ll wait a few months before I try again.

We went to a pre-opening event. The food was tasty, the employees were all helpful and the environment was clean and cute. It doesn’t have a lot of tables, so you may want to get takeout if it’s busy. We had a variety of tacos and they were all made with fresh ingredients. I liked the MC Yum Yum and my husband liked the Carnita. My son doesn’t like spicy and really enjoyed his ground “beast” (beef) tacos. My daughter got the Cheesesteak nachos and enjoyed that. The queso was delicious, but could’ve used a few more chips for dipping. We ate for free at this special event, but the prices seemed to be a little higher than some other taco places around (though most dining prices have increased lately). It’s nice to have a taco place in this area. We’ll be back.

I had the Hen House Fries and the Mexican cheesecake. The food was well-seasoned with an excellent flavor profile. The cheesecake was my favorite. I'd only add a little strawberries on top to make it out of this world! Destiny and Savannah were great! They both exhibited impeccable customer service, which seems to be lacking these days. They made sure to answer any question with a smile and checked on us during our meal. I will definitely return.
