Great place to get jollof rice and meat pies! I googled African restaurants and after searching through a few, I decided to order from this place. Please do not let the few negative reviews deter you from visiting and being a patron of this establishment! Yes, there can be a wait but with authentic homemade food... what do you expect?! If it was fast food, I could definitely understand that being a problem.

I entered the shop and ordered 2 meat patties and jollof, but after seeing the sweet lady serving food, I ordered another meat patty because she looked like she could cook— let’s just say I don’t regret ordering the extra patty (the buttery crust was scrumptious!) lol. She provided me with a good portion of rice ($5 jollof) that could feed 2 or 3 easily and was very helpful when I called in asking for prices since the menu isn’t online.

All in all, very nice place to visit with a very sweet woman behind the counter! Support small business, even if you have to wait a little longer than you’d like— it’s WELL worth it!

The service was good, we were greeted told they were behind which let us know we cld decide if we wanted to wait, our waitress answered all of our questions. They were awedome

I searched African food on Google and was directed here. Their Fufu and Egusi are fantastic, and so are their meat pies. I had a great fresh meal here and would definitely eat here again!
