I have just found my go to southern food restaurant. This is a great place. The food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and very outgoing. I was told by the owner that it was been in biz for a while, (like over 20 YEAR'S)!

My husband loves this place. They do soul food. The facilities need a lot of renovation but the food is pretty good if you don't feel like cooking on a Sunday.

When you need soul food stop on by. My fave is the stew beef over mash with yams & mac n' cheese. It feels good to the core. Love you for all that you do.

Had to add another 5 star review to combat the very few disgruntled negative ones here. I have been coming here for YEARS and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for a "pretty" place then this is not your venue.

If you're looking for good SOUL FOOD, this place is it. I've run into some challenges with call ins, but only on busy Sunday afternoons after church, and they are always accommodating. As for the long hair... do you wear a hair net in your own kitchen, and has it caused issues? Again, if you're influenced by aesthetics, there are other places that will charge more and give you less.

As for the prices, VERY reasonable for the amount of food you get. I will continue to come here!

The location definitely needs some updating. This is what you call a "hole in the wall", but don't let that keep you from trying this place! The food is ALWAYS good, seasoned perfectly, and the staff is friendly.
