Panera Bread

The menu is of mainly light fare, with emphasis on salads and soups. The food is good. The prices are good and the service is friendly. My favorite combo is broccoli/cheese soup with a green goddess salad. Pastry desserts are good.

Great place to meet friends for lunch or a quiet lunch for one. Activity seems busy during lunch time 11:30 to 3:00. Atmosphere good for meeting with friends. Local to many businesses. Parking is tough.

Chicken on salad was frozen. they were very pleasant about replacing it. The second salad had some chicken that was heated, some that was not. And the chicken was chewy and flavorless. The dark roast coffee tasted burnt. love Panera. This was not my best experience.

Obviously, as a chain restaurant, you pretty much know what you're going to get. That said, I thought I should "tip my hat" to good service. To make a long story short, they rectified a situation (an issue w/ ordering on kiosk) quickly and professionally; something rare these days.
