Delicious!!!! I was first introduce to Gelato on vacation in Italy. Let me say this place is YUMMY and the flavors are out of this world. As someone new to Charlotte I spend most weekends trying out new restaurants. I will definitely be back!!!!
NOTE: Sorry I forgot to take a picture of my Strawberry Rose/Blackberry Lemonade...I actually inhale it...lol!
I discovered a gelato shop that offers a delightful selection of quirky and unique flavors that I hadn't seen elsewhere, such as pistachio lemon curd and rose balsamic. One flavor combination we tried was lemon pistachio, which was definitely unique. However, I found the texture of the gelato to be slightly grainy and lighter than I prefer. Personally, I enjoy a creamier and denser texture in gelato. On the bright side, they also had chocolates available, which I absolutely loved. The chocolates were a perfect balance of softness and crunchiness, with a well-rounded sweetness and flavor. If you're someone who enjoys exploring unique flavors in desserts, this place is definitely worth a visit.
One of the best gelato I had!! So delicious. I had the Stracciatella and Pistachio. They had a lot of different flavors to choose from. The small cup was generously served. They also had some chocolate desserts I will have to try next time!! Staff was friendly and attentive.
The small gelato was delicious, I had the pistachio rosewater and salted caramel! Would highly recommend the rosewater that was a delicious flavor and the biscuit tasted good! I did however feel like it was very expensive for the portion sizes, however in the area you do start to expect to pay 1-2 dollars more than you normally would. Overall it was worth the trip, but just expect to spend a bit more than your average ice cream shop.
This is a must! We happened upon this chocolate & gelato shop by chance. We were greeted by a sweet young woman named Julia. She suggested we mix a few of the gelato flavors, we went with the gingerbread and I believe the other was buttercream…. It felt like we were in Italy. Oh my! I also tried the brownie, “hands down one of the best” I have ever tasted. I told the other customers in the shop to try it! Even take some home. I also tried the candy cane chocolate. Everything was perfection! I wish we had a location near our home. We don’t live in the area. We plan to visit again when we do head out this way!
