very nice spot nestled behind park road shopping center. great location to explore others spots for drinks in that area. really enjoyed everything i ordered here from apps to dinner to drinks. knowledgeable and friendly staff that took great care of us throughout the entire meal. great to get a seat at the bar and watch the chefs work up some delicious dishes. really look forward to going back and try out the rest of the menu! overall a great new restaurant added to the charlotte area.
They offer an interesting array of specialty cocktails (try the violet femme!) and wines by the glass I have not seen offered in other local restaurants. I loved my crab small plate and look forward to trying the salmon belly next time. Our waiter was attentive without hovering.
Make sure to seat at the bar! That is where all the action is happening and where you will have the best view. That being said there is pretty limited seating and the food is worth sitting wherever you can. We went for Valentine’s Day and had a fantastic meal and fantastic service. Our server was able to answer all our wine questions and help us pick a bottle and because we had heard such great things about the food deferred to her on meal choices and she did not steer us wrong. We started with the blue crab dip with dill crackers and it was full of fresh crab chunks and was as rich and delicious as our server had warned us. I then had the pork chop and horseradish potatoes based on her calling it the “best pork chop” she ever had. And she was absolutely right, it is now the best pork chop I have ever had. Put this one high on your list for a visit
I was only in town for the night and stumbled upon this place. The fries and aioli were so good. The homemade pasta and sauce were some of the best I've had. I asked for no cheese(a preference not a dietary restriction) and the chef was nice enough to come out and let me know there was some dairy in the pasta which was fine by me but was so nice when they actually listen and ask questions based upon your request. I would definitely stop by again to try some more from the menu.
First visit great experience! Miranda took care of us and made excellent wine and food recommendations! We had the butter lettuce salad, mushroom plate, and shared the pork chop. Food was delicious and service was excellent! Great ambiance. Highly recommend!
