Love it I feel like this place is rather unique we tried all five of their oysters. We had the cheese fondue and the clam chowder is the best clam chowder I have had it ever cuz it is full of clams. My daughter had the Connecticut lobster roll with lots of butter she loved it.

One of the places I always want to go when I'm in North Carolina

Excellent value and quality for oysters on the half shell. Only 1 dollar each during happy hour. Theses were NC sourced and although small had superb taste. The New England clam chowder was packed with clams and very flavorful. The crispy oyster platter was generous and the sauces great. The fries were also very good. The fried trout was very crisp and satisfying. Although very cozy and not quiet, a great experience.

This place will absolutely blow your mind. Best seafood in Charlotte and one of my favorite places to come for a couple of beers. Great atmosphere and oysters that are out of this world. Highly recommended.

Atmosphere is great and a fun concept for Charlotte. The oyster selection varies with what is fresh and they have a happy hour for oysters which is pretty fun and keeps it cheap if you want a bunch of oysters. Bar had some creative cocktails and they seem to know what they are doing. My main complaint is in the quality selection of the rest of the seafood for the price point they charge. They don't offer pretty and eat shrimp, cream legs, or many of the other traditional steamed seafood options you expect at raw bar. They have a steamer pot or low country boil, can't remember what they call it, but I didn't order so can't review that. Most everything else is fried. I requested steamed shrimp instead of fried and they accommodated but they were already shelled and very small size shrimp. Just kind of bland. I think they were $17 and came with one side. My wife got the lobster roll and it seemed to have a lot of lobster meat but she said it was kind of bland and we expected a little more flavor of flare for it costing $23. I will give it another shot to make sure it was not an of night or week, but really was hoping for a better raw bar selection beyond the oysters.

Probably my second review of this fabulous place but they are deserving of all the publicity! Went there last night for Valentines Day and it didn't disappoint! Loved the Nautical Mule and my hubby had a Wicked Weed Special and they were amazing! The oyster happy hour was featuring a VA oyster and they were delicious. We also had the trout pate' which is really just a divine creation of Trout dip which was served with a pickle and ground mustard, neither of which were necessary because the treat was definitely the trout! Staff as usual were off the chain wonderful, full of smiles and ready to please. You must visit this wonderful place
