Queen's Soul Food.

First and foremost good soul food. This was me and my wife's first time. We took it to go. Smother pork chops and oxtails. With the following side mac and cheese, greens, rice, candied yams and mashed potatoes with cornbread. We enjoyed it all. Friendly staff. We were impress. The facility will not wow you but the food will. New loyal patrons.

After hearing numerous people say Queen City has the best soul food in Charlotte, my family and I decided to try it ourselves. We we're not disappointed!! The food was DELICIOUS!! They have the widest variety of meats to choose from from any soul food place I've been to. From turkey wings to jerk chicken to oxtails! I had the oxtails which were fall of the bone and FAVORFUL. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The candy yams,cabbage and collard greens we're all delicious! Not only was the food delicious, but the service was awesome. We met the owner! He shared his amazing story with us. He was amazing. So was Ms. Martha and the other staff. Just a really nice experience all around! We'll be back for the FOOD AND THE PEOPLE!! 10 STARS!!!

Oh. My. Gosh. The food is AMAZING!! I haven’t had a great meal like this in a long time! SO much food and even the sides were fantastic. The staff is awesome. Super friendly and the owner came over to check on us and chat. My husband and I were laughing with the staff and it felt like a meal with friends. I wish we lived here so we could go back! We will definitely be visiting next time we are in town. I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone. Super clean as well!

Queens soul food is an excellent place to go and eat at. The atmosphere is so positive , the staff is so nice & patient. Especially the owner ! My name is Tonya Smith. I want everybody to know I absolutely LOVE Queens Soul Food. Number one, when you enter, the staff treat you like family. That alone set a comfortable atmosphere. You feel welcome there.

Then you choose your food. And what GREAT TASTING food it is. There is so much to choose from and all of it is good down home soul food. You don't know what to choose.

Myself, I prefer the oxtails. There is none other in town and surrounding area that come close. The tenderness, the goodness and the taste is unmatched.

The staff is personal. They know what you want because of what you order most of the time. Queens Soul Food, I refuse to eat anywhere else.

Their hospitality alone make you want to come back there; everyone from the server's, the Master chef, to the owner. I love it there and like I said earlier, that's the only place I go and I make a point to tell everyone I know, if you want the best oxtails in the region; go to Queens Soul Food. There is not enough stars on this site for me to rate them.
