Our go to spot for date night. Always a great experience tasting creative dishes from an ever rotating seasonal menu. We bring the kids in for brunch on Sundays and get treated like family.

The ambience, decor and staff were lovely. I've been wanting to try this place since they opened based on the idea of an ever changing menu and the prestige of the chefs. The food was gorgeous, pictured are entrees because we forgot to get the 2 small plates ordered up front.

The only thing that prevents this from getting 5 stars was the timing. Some small plates type establishments have the timing down to a science and we had a decent wait between ordering 1st course and getting the entrees in. Minor issue but noticable.

Cocktails were noticably creative and perfect sippers, I recommend their take on an old fashioned, but skip the prince of thieves. Conceptually a drink with black garlic sounds amazing, and to be fair, with food it works, however after dinner sipping the black garlic flavor takes over.

Unisex bathrooms are always a win in Charlotte so good on them. All in all will be back, perhaps next time for just a few small plates and some cocktails to save a few shekels. Use Google to secure a reservation as the seating is limited.

The steamed buns are the best I've ever had! Everything was delicious. The atmosphere and customer service was wonderful.

Excellent restaurant. We arrived at 5 PM (right when they open) on a Saturday. It was not crowded. The service was perfect. The waitress was very nice and very helpful since this was our first time. We had the corn bread for our appetizer and it was good. But the highlight was our meal. I had the fried chicken and my wife had the pork with bacon. Both were amazing. This is a farm fresh restaurant, the menu changes based on what comes in that day. Prices are higher than we are used to but for the taste it was perfect. Soda is buy the glass, unsweet tea is all you can drink. We would go back for a special occasion.
