Brooks' Sandwich House

Great burgers! Great breakfast sandwiches. Not only one of the best burgers around. But one of the best fried bologna sandwiches around too.

FYI if you come here around lunch time, plan to wait outside the door for a few. Very unassuming spot but the homemade chili is worth every bit of the wait. Order any sandwich all the way - chili , mustard, onions. You will not be disappointed.

They have the BEST hamburger in town! The place is just a small hole-in-the-wall and carry out only. You will visit there for many years after you have gone once. I have eaten all over and you won't find a better burger. Plus if you want a fried "Livermush" sandwich fixed like a hamburger (all the way) you will never be unhappy and likely go back for more.

I practically eat brooks everyday for lunch the cheeseburger all the way with slaw is the way to go. The only reason i hadn't given them 5 stars is only because its very basic. outside seating only if you had wanted to stay and eat, but maybe thats part of the charm that is brooks sandwiches. The staff is always steady moving. service is mostly pleasant. Very focused on getting the food correct, and to the patron as quickly as possible . They stay pretty busy.

Brooks is a must stop. This is a neighborhood favorite and it is easy to see why. Simple menu and perfect burgers. Crispy with great bun and flavor. Sausages have a great bite and strong ginger taste. We liked everything about this spot.
