Good food and atmosphere. The Tavern Burger and Linda's Turkey Melt w/Sweet Potato Fries are my go to and they never disappoint. They also have decent beer specials if you catch them at the right time.
The restaurant really needs to educate and train their wait staff! Most of the comments with low ratings involve the service... And the same for this posting. When a people go to a restaurant, it is not only for food/beverages, it is also for the "not having to cook/relaxing" environment... A PACKAGE DEAL. The food could be absolutely delicious, but if part of the experience lacks, without any explanation (i. e. Busy, short-staffed, etc... BC things happen sometimes), then the customer is lacking. Unfortunately, this is not my first time at this restaurant with a bad waitstaff experience. The food is good, but please train your waitstaff.
Had a great experience tonight. My bud and I just wanted to drink some beer and have some oysters and watch Tiger Woods play golf for the first time this year. I asked if we could go into the outside area and put on Golf Channel for us and they said absolutely, yes! Alexus and Jess took very good care of us, even let me take a dozen oysters home for my wife. The oysters were excellent. Thanks for a good time! Steve and Scot
The Chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had! There was a slight char and they were awesome! However, my wife felt like the sauce was put on far too sparingly and the char was more than she preferred... Clearly this trip went in my favor :) The service was acceptable but nothing outstanding.
Parking here has become an issue. I'm not sure what's changed but it has been difficult to find a spot the last few times I've been here.
