The best place to eat Tai food in Charlotte is here! The people here are kind, clean, they move quickly to get your food to you and are always glad to see you come back again.
The prices are not too high. They are anywhere from $6 to 9 dollars a plate and you get enough to go home with a second portion. They have a wonderful work ethic and will do all they can to make your meal a pleasant one.

Please take the time to try Taipei South. You will not regret it.

1st time trying Taipei south! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the woman was so nice to my kids , food was good! Definitely will be back!

Came here with a friend for dinner on Wednesday night and we cleaned up! Your order up front and there's a line, but it goes fairly quick and they seat you after, so you don't have to hunt for tables. We ordered a lot. The spicy peanuts, the tofu, the chicken, noodles, pork buns, green peas, and ... at least two other dishes I can't think of. It barely fit in our table, but we made it work. Everything came out quick and was delicious. Honestly, whatever we didn't order also looked good, so it doesn't seem like you can go wrong.

These rude comments are unbelievable! This place is AMAZING and nothing less! My husband has been going there for over 20 yrs. Don't read the negative comments, jeez. They're food is AWESOME, prices are CHEAP, and you get PLENTY of food! Not to mention, it's like FAMILY in there. They're always so excited to see us and they're always excited when I bring the kids. I'm actually going to eat there again tonight! Yummy!

I love this place! You honestly can’t beat their prices and flavors! I get the tofu with mixed vegetables, it is freshly cooked each time, and brought to our table in less than 10 minutes! Awesome customer service! I come here at least once a week and have not been disappointed! This is quality food!
