D.D. PECKERS WING SHACK

I've been coming here for 11+ yrs and it never disappointed me. Food came out Fast, tasted good, caribbean wings my recommendation for you... the service is ok.

D.D Peckers is a quiet, out-of-the-way and unpretensious place to relax with friends, have drinks and enjoy bar food well done. Their wings are really good -- as you would hope -- but the rest of the menu does not disappoint. Their sandwiches are fresh and tasty Their onion rings worth noting in a review. Their service is good. Only the interior space is lacking and is the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars. In my view a local bar/pub has limited space, good drinks at reasonable cost, good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. The only thing missing here is the last item on the list. But don't let that stop you. Go and enjoy.

I have had better wings at other places. I am still on the hunt for the bear wing spot in Charlotte. The wings were cooked really well. The crispyness of the wings was the best thing about them, but I just felt like the flavor was lacking. Would I go back? Maybe, but I am looking for something better.

A tucked away little gem.
So I sampled several flavors, although I'm not very experimental with wings.

Buffalo style: very tasty
Hot gold: not hot, a little sweet for my taste, if you like a sweet, tangy wing, you'll love this one.
Honey hot: I liked this more than I thought I would. (Wasn't too sweet for me)
Southern Style: comes with brown gravy..but I used buffalo sauce. Yum!
Garlic Flavor: they were garlicky, not good for a first date.

Server was great, lots of spunk.
Atmosphere was friendly, lively.
Mixed ages.
There is a full bar, music and multiple TVs for the sports fan.

I'll be back.

This was my first visit. The food was great and the service was, too. This was a lunch visit and the place was very busy but you would have known it by the customer service. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Great experience!!
