Giacomo's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

We only had a take out dinner from there so observations concerning staff and overall restaurant experience is not available. However the food was excellent extremely tasteful serving size of entrees and sides was more than generous and I could not believe the prices. We plan on dining at the restaurant on our next visit to the Concord area.

Giacomos is hands down the best Italian food I’ve had since moving to the university area. Everything is made fresh and the hot rolls are seriously addicting. The servers here have always been helpful and polite and the owner is friendly to anyone that walks in!!!

I have been coming to this great little Italian neighborhood restaurant for a little over a year since I first moved to Charlotte from NY/NJ. It is one of my favorites places to eat and relax here in the University area. The pasta dishes, pizzas and desserts are all delicious. My personal favorites are the Veal Parmigiana and the Lobster Ravioli. The management and staff are very friendly and very attentive. I strongly recommend it as a great choice for a family style Italian meal or a meal with friends or a date.

I used to live in the neighborhood right behind this hidden gem, and would regularly go here (usually carry out) at least once a week. I've tried dozens of menu items and every single one exceeded expectations. Their buffalo wings are some of the best in town, and the white pizza is the best I've had anywhere. I live about 20 minutes away now but still occasionally make the trip (and pass by a bunch of other Italian restaurants) to go pick up my favorite in town!
