300 East

There is no restaurant in Charlotte that makes me as happy as 300 East. As you walk in the door, to the service, drinks, food, and of course the desserts, every fiber of what Chef Ashley is designed to make you smile. Based on the menu descriptions you would think it’s all things you’ve known and heard; however I’ve learned that Chef Ashley loves to put her own twist on nostalgia. If there is a Mount Rushmore of Charlotte food, she would be there without a doubt. As usual, bravo Chef. Thank you for showing us all what a great tasting food and a happy staff can do for the soul.

This place is absolutely amazing. You can sit inside or outside and the staff is great. If you come here you must get the Matilda Wong. They will know what you're talking about. Just know that you cannot have more than two. I can barely finish the one that I had lol. Great food great ambience.

Had a lovely brunch here this weekend. The menu is simple but has options for everyone. I got the shrimp cake Benedict, which was delicious! Our waitress Trish was really nice as well, and all of our food was served fairly quickly.

Overall: good food, nice setting, courteous wait staff. Stop by and enjoy a meal! You won’t regret it.

We sat outside and still had great service. Our food was great as well. The bar service, always important to us, wasn't as impressive as the rest of our evening. Play it safe and stick to their wine list.

Our party of 3 had a wonderful brunch. We had the breakfast nachos ... which were delicious, and the French toast ... which was amazing. Actually, the best I've ever had.

Perhaps a small item to some ... but a big deal to us was the fact that we could actually have a conversation without raising our voices. Meaning ... the ambiance and music level was just right.

Thanks 300 East for a really good experience. We're coming back.
