Dean's Italian Steakhouse

We were impressed! The meatballs were delicious and our steak was cooked perfect. Charred flavor on the outside and medium rare on the inside. Wine selection was great. I wasn't a huge mashed potato fan, but everyone likes their potatoes different!

I forget our servers name, middle age gentlemen that travels quite a bit with his wife- he did a GREAT job! They are working some small kinks out as a new restaurant but overall great ambiance & experience!

The food is absolutely amazing, and the service couldn’t be better. I’ve been three times in the last week, and they exceed my expectation each time! The steak tartare and the crab cakes are great for appetizers. I’ve had 3 different steaks each visit, and they all have been really good! Ask for Alexis as your server. She’s awesome!

I walked past Dean’s several days in a row while visiting Charlotte before finally stopping in for dinner. Service (Jami was awesome) plus my drinks from the bar were 5 out of 5, but my steak wasn’t up to par. At $65 for a bone in rib-eye I expect it to be better. Then realized they’ve only been open 2 weeks. Hope they only improve from here.

The space is small but this place will probably be on our rotation of places to go when we crave high quality steak. They are one of the few places on Charlotte that serves Wagyu though its only American or Australian versus true Japanese style. Kudos to our server and the GM for making this a memorable experience.
