Intermezzo

Saw this place on Triple D, and had to try it when I went to Charlotte. Nice quaint place with a few booths and tables on the inside and (possibly new) covered patio. Ordered cabbage rolls and enjoyed every bite. Homemade bread was airy and delicious. Entire meal was amazing. One sad thing was that 4 pieces was not enough to sop up rest of juice in bowl after I devoured the rolls, but that's just me being a fat@$$ wanting more bread, lol. Only real downside is that there is 3% fee for credit card use, so bring cash. Since everything is homemade, prices are little steep, but totally worth it. If I get down to Charlotte and go again, I'm getting the Piroska.

I can never say enough how much I love Intermezzo, and the friendly family owned staff that runs it. The food is delicious, with what I personally believe is the best pizza in town, and fabulous Serbian dishes too for a menu that definitely has something for everyone. The thin pita like bread they use is so good for sandwiches, burgers and other items on the menu. Also their beer selection is unique and nice for items you can't find anywhere else in the city. I have been going here for as long as they have been open and I will continue to go as long as they are there.

I’ve been wanting to visit this spot for so long and wow.... we were not disappointed! The food and drinks were AMAZING. Christina was fabulous! Loved it. A million star review from my 7 yr old as well!

I have continued to go here time and time again for the past 2 years. The pizza is always great. It's some of the best pizza I have had. I have brought several people here (some that are kinda elitist when it comes to pizza and Serbian food) everyone has always enjoyed the food.
