Soooo... I'm an ultimate foodie which means that taste, flavor, texture, temperature and presentation matters. I give Lulu's an A on all of the above. I typically don't like crab but, the crab fries are one of my favorites on the menu so far. The cajun salmon is made to perfection and perfectly seasoned. It is a must visit that will keep you coming back for more.
1st time eating from this place and I was very satisfied with everything. Lump crabcake is definitely MD style along with the crab dip and mumbo sauce. Large shrimps were lightly battered and seasoned well. Greens were tender, sweet and vinegary, jams taste just like how my Grandma used to make them and the cajun rice was just an extra to an already great meal. I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
Ordered the spicy shrimp, mac and cheese and sweet potatoes... The best.. You can tell they really take there time when cooking... Def recommend
I am a Baltimore native living in Charlotte for the past 9 years. This is the first time I have ever been able to find GOOD seafood like we have back home. The lake trout is my favorite because I would normally have to go back to Baltimore to get it, but now it's right here in Charlotte. The owners are friendly and seem to go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. The owner even came outside to greet and welcome everyone to the restaurant when they open. I will definitely come back here for the food as well as their customer service. Kudos to the the owners. It's also a black owned restaurant that I am more than happy to support.
