    This place is awesome! The staff was super friendly and fast. The food was delicious and not overpriced. Its kinda a small place but that gives it an authentic old school diner kinda feel. Great spot for brunch after a late night.

    Quaint atmosphere, great service and great food. I got the Ruben burger and death by chocolate shake. The burger was one of the most unique I have tastes

    My husband took me there before a concert at the Fillmore and the Meatloaf was AMAZING!!! I am not a lover of meatloaf, but decided to try it anyway. I told my husband that I don't think I can say that I don't like meatloaf anymore. The slice was so huge that I could only eat half of it. I was mad that I could not take it with me, but as I said before we were going to a concert.

    If you are ever in the Charlotte area you have to stop in at Mattie's!

    Omg too much good stuff! The fries were hot and crispy, and perfectly salted. The meatloaf is to die for and mashed potatoes are nice and creamy. Pastrami on the Ruben is awesome and macaroni with cheese is creamy and seasoned well. Shakes are super good too! A+++++

    Nice cozy place (it was a chilly night). Veggie "burger" (portabella, fresh spinach, onions, Swiss) was great. Service was spot-on. Good onion rings. Want to go back and try more.
