I was so excited that El Toro Bruto was reopening, even if only three days a week! It’s a little more than I would spend on takeout usually (these two dishes were just over $30 with tax and tip), but I appreciated the depth of flavors and labor that went into them. The mole in particular hit the spot! I’ll definitely come back sometime when I can linger over the meal and dine in person.
Food that rivals LA's best Mexican restaurants, inventive with the quality of restaurant food and the personalization of home cooked meals, Noche Bruta is the best food we have had in a long time. Clearly a labor of love for the chef. The wine was equally exceptional and the salsas were out of this world! So glad we found this hidden gem.
Noche Bruta is Chef Hectors heart on a sleeve. Stop by enjoy a lovely and fun date night or bring a group of friends of for some great wines and small plates!
Noche Bruta gets everything right. The atmosphere and music are on point, the service is great, and the food is delicious. It is a great mix of traditional and creative and we tried the whole menu and loved every bite. Definitely will be our go to date night spot going forward.
