Que Onda - Plaza Midwood

Cool little spot. Small on the inside but cozy. Headed straight to the bar! So I decided to get the margarita which was $6 each and I also had the $5 nachos with chicken which were very good. No love music but in house music, of course Spanish and I didn't mind at all. The service was good and the staff was pleasant.

Had a great meal here. The space is super cute, and the dish options are exciting. My friend and I both really enjoyed our food!

We have been patiently waiting on this gem to open for months and it did not disappoint! Sangria is perfect, not too sweet and very refreshing! We have been twice and have been impressed both times with the food, service, atmosphere and drinks! Give it a try! I am thrilled to have this place in our neighborhood. Cheers to a new place to add to our weekly date night spots in our favorite neighborhood! 🍷

I’ve been going to Que Onda in Uptown for the last year- absolutely love that place. Also love Que Fresa as well!! ❤️❤️ Was so super excited to find out they were opening down the block for me in Plaza Midwood. I was more excited when I got there and found out that Jose, who works uptown, is now in Plaza! He’s amazing along with our server Kayla. Such amazing service and extremely attentive!! We had many margaritas, the dip trio which came with tortilla chips and the yucca fries which was super crispy and flavorful. We had churros and Tres leches for dessert. So good!!! Everything was amazing as I knew it would be. Loved the space. Can’t wait to come back and have more things!!

My husband and I went here last night for a last minute food run. The food ambiance was amazing! The food was phenomenal! The black beans were seasoned perfectly, the fish tacos were moist and flaky. Our bartender was Megan and she made me a perfect whiskey sour. However, you can’t go to a tacos and tequila place and not order tequila so we got a shot of Avion tequila as well. Alex, who I’m assuming was the manager, let us know that the grand opening will be 4/20 but they will be open every night until then. Check them out! Great for date night, after work happy hour, girls night, you name it! Oh and there’s an upstairs seating area as well. Enjoy!
