Roy's Kitchen & Patio

It was a very clean, spacious, and friendly atmosphere. I love the food but dont recommend the cabbage... Beside that jabari the bartender was very awesome and yet friendly. I will definitely go back.

Roy’s is a great addition to Noda that is easy to overlook. Huge outdoor seating area in the back, great bartenders, fun vibe, and a whole fish entree that was outstanding. Lots of other menu choices that have a authentic Caribbean flavor. Highly recommended.

I went here yesterday, and I’m going back here again today. It’s been a while since I’ve felt that way about a restaurant. I went in and headed to the patio, the bartender back there was very nice and gave me the absolute best service I have received in NODA in a while. Growing up in NODA, it’s still nice to see people keeping that same vibe. He recommended the Escovitch Fish. It was absolutely perfect. I didn’t say a word the whole time but only to order another ginger beer. The Cabbage and Rice and Beans were cooked perfectly. I am on the way to pick up a huge to go order right now!

We stopped in for brunch last Sunday. Service was very attentive and the food plentiful and delicious.
The brioche French Toast is served with a subtlety savory mango salsa that was unique and amazing. The Jerk Shrimp and grits hit all of the flavor notes beautifully. The lobster and egg sandwich was a delicious surprise. You can never go wrong with chicken and waffles- the jerk chicken wings gave a fun twist to this classic.

Jamaican born and raised here ????. First i must say, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALONE IS INCREDIBLE, CHICK FIL A WHOOO. secondly the music is spot on !!!! very good vibes and beautifully decorated. now, the food !! curry goat was a little spicier than i’m used to but otherwise 11/10. I HAD to go back and try the oxtail of course. that’s the real test, and yes you guessed it. Delicious, if you’re looking to check somewhere out and you’re deciding between here and somewhere else. the decision has been made
