The Good Wurst

Man.... Where do I begin?? From the moment you walk into the establishment your nose is greeted with the most glorious smell of bratwurst.

The customer service is great and knowledgeable, with easy recommendations for a first time diner.

I opted for the Jalapeno and Cheddar Wurst with all the fixings and OMG was I surprised at the flavor that food punched. I will definitely be making this one of my weekly lunch visits going forward!

I have one semi negative thing to say about this place… their napkins aren’t good enough to withstand all the gooey goodness that comes with ordering from Good Wurst. I’ve been to this establishment in south end twice since they have opened and both times I’ve had great experiences. Ordered a big burger that was cover in cheese and lettuce and pickles and it was super delicious (dine-in). Highly recommend ordering online or coming early because it gets busy. They have a great indoor seating selection and the line moves quick but I do believe ordering online was a lot easier. Yesterday I ordered online and was able to pick up and walk back to my building and eat. The photo of the hot dog to go may not look appetizing but don’t let it fool you. It was awesome! The fries with a salt and pepper mix was delicious. Can’t want to try them for breakfast. They also have a walk up window and offer fresh sausage and bagels. AND THEY SERVE PORK ROLL!!

Could have gotten by with one dog, the potions are good size. PLT and Carolina dogs were great, wide choice of fries and tots

Had the House Hade Italian. Sausage was perfect with the peppers and onions. Bread was great too. The pretzel with cheese and the fries were solid side options. Would go back. Great prices.

I am so glad they opened this location. Went for lunch and expirences extremely helpful and friendly staff, a fun and environs atmosphere, and top quality food that Charlotte has come to know and love at the original location! I will be frequenting this location as it is close to home and look forward to every future visit!

This time, I ordered the pork schnitzel sandwich - if you have not yet tried it, make it your next order!

To me, the good wurst is a step back to simpler times, the friendly local butcher on the corner. This is clearly seen with the true care and passion embedded in everything they do!
