LOVED the food here. The portions aren't huge but the flavor is. Every dish had a unique touch. The place smells like smoke so just plan on smelling like you've been sitting by a camp fire once you leave. The service was also very friendly.
We got the charred veggies and they tasted great. The pork cheek has a funky name but the flavor and consistency was great. The chorizo flat bread is slap your momma good.
My least favorite was likely the dessert which was the Milk coconut passion fruit cake. I was expecting it to be more moist. It tasted good I just would have liked a little more moisture; maybe even like a tres leches consistency would have been epic. But the flavor of the cake was good.
Had a lovely brunch! Had a 5 year old with us and the staff was accommodating and kind. The method of cooking (over a wood fire) makes things interesting. The open air garage doors kept things from being hot on a summer day. I bet this space would be especially cozy in winter.
Incredible food, cocktails, service and ambiance. My GF and I made reservations here for our 1 year anniversary but didn’t make it known ahead of time. It was our first time here and it’s the perfect date spot. Jayson was awesome! The food is prepped in an open kitchen, in plain view and is mesmerizing. The food itself is amazing! Fresh ingredients, incredible attention to detail, delectable combinations. You’ll savor every bite. A great spot for a special occasion, a casual date night or just a cool spot to grab a drink with friends. The music provided an additional great vibe. You won’t be disappointed here!
Comfortable yet progressive restaurant and bar. Enjoyed a classic Daiquiri at the bar while over looking the completely open kitchen concept. It’s 100% in the middle of the dining room. I also loved the amount of open air. You could easily look out into the street from the side bar seating. The music selection was great. Our bartender Justin rocked.
I must say this a nice restaurant. I had the local garden salad with hanger steak with vinegarette dressing and it was delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable to the point I thought I was in an episode of some cooking show on the Food Network. I had a family of eight and they had different food items but they were all good. The atmosphere was really nice and it was nice to see the chefs cooking it out in the open. A great place to eat.
