Velvet Taco

Delicious tacos! We have been here twice already so have tried 8 of their tacos and all were excellent! Margaritas were also super tasty. The staff was all super friendly and very fast service even on a busy Saturday night!

FINALLY a Velvet Taco that lives up to the one I had in Dallas! The Optimist Hall location was a bit of a disappointment when I first tried and honestly I haven’t been back since then. For the second day of opening it was packed. They only have one cashier so the line can get pretty backed up because of that, but the service and how fast everything came out was incredible. I was a bit nervous that being they were so busy the quality would go down, but no everything came out perfectly. The thai curry queso is my new favorite addiction, definitely worth trying!

Awesome! Finally a full Velvet Taco location with their expanded menu :-D Have had it in Dallas and couldn't wait for it to open here. The Optimist Hall location is a smaller location with a limited menu. But the new place has a bigger selection. I had my favorites vegetarian options - Falafel Taco (replaced wrap with tortilla) and Paneer Tikka Taco (off menu, but brilliant, just order Chicken Tikka and replace Chicken with Paneer). Fully satisfied. 😌
