“Good place to get a sandwich. If you come around lunch time expect a decent wait. They have a grand selection of beer, wine, and grab and go snacks. We tried the veggie sandwich and the bread was lackluster but the flavor of the vegetables inside was great! A more wholesome ciabatta with a crust would bring it next level.”

“I just landed in Charlotte for the first time in a few months and this restaurant was absolutely incredible. From the food to the service was amazing. My friend and i could not stop raving about the corn ribs as well as talking about how delicious the food was over all. We sat at the bar with Miguel the bartender and he took excellent care of us. “Bar food just off of Morehead Uptown. The wait staff was awesome. Most of the food was pretty good. It is bar food. The onion rings were not good. Got their Boom Boom Shrimp, Onion Rings, Tater Tots, and tacos. The sides are large enough for two or three peeps. Food is inexpensive.”

“I definitely enjoyed myself along with the food and drinks. As pictured we had the guacamole with pork belly. This was my least favorite, it didn’t taste like much. The fried red snapper was seasoned to perfection. We did not enjoy the house sauce that was on the Mexican rice and the butterfly shrimp. The lime juice was too overpowering. Over all though it was a good meal.”

Yes, some prices on items are HIGH(er) than other convenient stores BUT this store has been here for as long as I can remember, only store on Carmel Road for this area that has a "neighborhood feel " and for the Beer drinkers you've GOT to stop in and visit their beer cave! “OMG, the food is so flavorful. I got papaya salad, Laos sausage, sticky rice, chicken wings, and beef larb. I didn't eat the chicken wings, hubby ate all that, he loved it, the papaya salad was medium spicy was perfect. The Laos sausage was fried crispy, delicious, and perfect with the sticky rice with the dip, awesome! I loved the flavor of the larb, pre-made, but I had to pick off the green onions I don't like the onions, but that's me only. Overall, definitely, if I'm on that side of town, I'd order it again. If they can add more Laos food, like soups, more sauces to dip, it would be awesome. Had a lot of fried rice & lo mein, I'm guessing for more Americans taste buds.”

We ordered starters Khali Mirch chicken and Karivepaku chicken along with Raju gari kodi pulav and Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani.Both the starters tasted good. Raju gari kodi pulav is a stand out and this has been the best pulav i had in charlotte region and even Hyderabadi dum biryani too tasted good.The taste, ambience and staff friendliness is so good that I will be visiting the place again and again.”
