La Fonda Colombiana

As a Colombian from NY, this food was on point. Service was great and food was delicious. My kids loved the music. Loved that they have a bakery with authentic goodies too.

1st time here, very good food, we were surprised to find “Lengua en salsa”excellent! The service provided by Andres and Joana was A+, very friendly and attentive.
Definitely will come back.

Enjoyed the Mondongo and Bandeja Paisa! The staff service and quality of food was outstanding and as Colombians we’ve eaten at hundreds of Colombian restaurants. So happy to see another quality Colombian restaurant in the area! Great job La Fonda!

The place is a bit outdated. The food came out in reasonable time but was very disorganized. On all of our orders something was missing, whether it was the salad or the tostones they took forever to bring out the missing items. They seem to be very understaffed and we had like 5 employees serving us filling in where the could. They didn’t have a drink option and also didn’t have chicken nuggets or tenders which I found odd. The food was ok but the fries lacked salt and so did the guacamole. Note if you will order the tostones and guacamole, they will give you more guacamole than is needed for the tostones. Parking is ample and the inside of the restaurant is large. Poor lighting in the back half of the restaurant. The food was ok but the milanesa was a bit oily and lacked flavor. The tostones were good and so was the white rice. The rice with shrimp was good. The salad that comes with the orders has a weird sauce/dressing. Overall 3/5 probably won’t come back but I did get filled up. Try and see if you like it.

Food was good, the service (One Waitress in Particular) not so much. (Waitress was not organized, brought out the apps after the entree, once we reminded her. Was never asked how the food was, do you need anymore refreshments or Dessert...Nada. Bus boy cleaned the table and waited over 20min to get the check) finally asked for the check and she starts blending a smoothie for another customer. I stood up to get the check from the register. Poor service.
