Ain't it spring yet? Wheres that ground hawg? Lemme know when it's over.
It must be spring, the crew at the Tin Shed are out of hibernation, bringing back Mitchell Counties best BBQ and fix'ins. Local ramp's are in season and go great with BBQ meals.
Well it's late summer now, the ramps may be out of season, but the "butternut squash" is in its prime! This ain't "Wiley's" but it's the best WNC has to offer!

Off the Blue Ridge Parkway, well worth the trip. Great food and very friendly staff. If you're wanting fast food or in a hurry this is not for you. Food is cooked fresh when ordered, not cooked and sitting under heat lamps. Everything is made from scratch and raised by Lacey (owner). Had the sausage sandwich red and green grilled peppers and onions with fries. Great sweet tea. Outdoor eating only, stays busy. Well worth the trip and wait.

Local and great! Great place to take the kids and enjoy dining outside while they play in the fenced in play yard or pet the bunnies or observe the pig or other farm animals. You might wanna call before your stop because they well close early if it's slow. I bought some produce in addition to my lunch. Once I got home and tried the produce I was amazed! You want laid back local food then here you go.

Nice folks, but you have to eat outside and they only have a porta potty. BBQ was good, as were fries and fried onions. Wife didn't care for her potato salad or sweet potato fries. But...the staff was nice and friendly!

The Barbecue was the best I've ever. All the sides were fresh, well seasoned and delicious. But the star of the show was Lacey. It would be worth the trip just to meet her. I would highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!
