“The all star bacon burger was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The salad was cool and fresh... quite tasty. The nachos were good, but should have included sour cream on them. The staff were friendly and brought refills regularly. Be advised that the restaurant can get a bit loud at times and families with little children are frequent visitors here.”

I wish the McDonald's restaurants in our local area (Cabarrus County) would do rotations through this store. Being Polite (Saying Thank You & Your Welcome) make the ordering experience much more personable. As well as serving FRESH food and delivering CORRECT orders.”

I ordered the pecan pancakes but I don't think she heard me correctly my husband didn't think I said it loud enough.... I may have been looking down & mumbled.... they were great regardless. The front windows could use some writing of some kind because the look makes you wonder if they are even open Maybe some inspiration message on one & a mention of bestselling items. Just a thought.”

“We had a Burger Shack right down the street from where we lived at when I was little and that was my favorite place to eat but it ended up closing down. Years later I realized that there was one in Mt Gilead which is not to far from me I was very excited to go and experience again what I had been missing for so long. However, I was terribly disappointed. It was good, don't get me wrong but the Philly Cheese Steak that I ordered they just put sliced cheese on top of the steak instead of mixing it up in the steak. I don't know about you but my mouth isn't big enough to where I can get all of that bread, steak and cheese in there at one time, every time. I have to take smaller bites so every bite isn't the same now being they put the cheese just on top like that. It was good, just nowhere near as good as it would have been had they not done it like that. Also the staff there acted like they were in a rush to get done with us and they were rolling their eyes at us. “We really appreciate the ENTIRE staff.... everyone is pleasant & they are quick to take care of ALL of their customers. Food comes out fast & it is awesome. Simple Grill cheese sandwiches & corn dogs. Potato salad yum Banana pudding YUM ( they run out often which says something about how good it is) today someone bought an entire pan of the banana pudding. Can't expect them to know how much is going to sell from day to day & it is not an item that will hold up if you make too much. Suggestion.... New item to maybe add to menu & try out is a PB&J sandwich Love this small town. The fact that it is the Oldest restaurant in the county says something.... Claim to fame.. Elvis ate here”

“Literally amazing. The restaurant is built half on the lake and half on shore. You can pull your boat to the dock and walk right in, or park in the parking lot. You can sit inside....or sit outside on a deck over the lake. The have mini golf, live music, and a little shop. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and it's a super nice place. Their special menu item is Bison!!!”
