“We were there for 3 nights for a birthday celebration. Perfect location near downtown. Great front porch which we utilized as a gathering spot for our group. Annie who was Superwoman was running the bar while also serving us drinks and dinner on the porch! She was amazing! Great breakfast too with another great lady, Pattie who was very warm and friendly! The rooms are dated but the service and location are top notch!”

Pleasantly surprised, as it is the same items they serve later at a higher price. We found the Tomahawk Pork Chop and the Ribeye to be superb choices, both cooked perfectly. “This is such a comfortable and cozy place! When you walk through the front door it's almost like you go back in time. The structure is original on the bottom floor, but the top floor was removed so the view of the Carolina hotel would not be blocked. “Went for my mother-in-law's 91 birthday. She had a great time and the food was great. She got her entree on the house which was a bit of a surprise but very well received. Jo was great as our waitress. The one thing everyone should know about the service charge that is included in your meals is that the servers only get 7 percent of that. It is not your tip for their service. Great time had by all!????????????”
