The Southerly Biscuit & Pie

It was a Sunny Saturday Morning, we wanted a quick breakfast and heard this place has some of the best biscuits in NC. We were not disappointed. Upon entry I felt like I was going to a bluestone sandwich shop. Nice beach yacht theme with a small set up. We ordered the friend chicken biscuits and some gravy.

After ordering we were provided with some free mini biscuits filled with chocolate (amazing).

They had some cool mugs, shirts, apron, bags for sale as well.

There is not much space inside to eat just a few standing rails. Outside the beverage place next door has some seating, not sure if it’s normally allows to customers from southerly to eat there, but did it as nothing else was open.

Picked up lunch here today with the family and highly recommend! The crack pie is MUST! We had a wide variety of biscuits and they were all phenomenal. Met the owner and she’s absolutely wonderful. Extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is homemade and delicious. Certainly the type of establishment that I’d love to give plenty of business to. So glad to have found this gem! Highly recommend!!!

Scratch made biscuits that are to die for. The sausage and cheese biscuit was delicious and filling, the star of the show being the hot buttery biscuit right out of the oven. To compliment the biscuit try a side of cheese grits.

Overall an amazing breakfast takeout spot, try to get there early to avoid the lines, or order online.

Good big fill you up biscuits. Scratch made and delicious. This is not a dine in or sit down establishment. I recommend placing your ahead of time online so you can avoid the wait time. But these biscuits are definitely worth the wait. This was our first visit and won't be our last. Give this place a try

True Southern biscuit dresses to impress! From spicy mushroom based gravy to brisket or catfish, this small takeout restaurant has it all!
