Wow. Great place. There is a lot of good merchandise in this store. Great views from the pier. They also serve food and ice cream. Heading back later for a T-shirt.

Decent fishing pier. Would have 5 stars if live bait was available. Has reasonably well kept restroom facilities. Some of the guys that work there seem friendly, others are not enjoying themselves.

What a beautiful pier. I’ve traveled to wrightsville beach a lot over the years and this has always remained one of my favorite piers - both underneath and on top! Be prepared for the entrance fee when entering. Also, parking can be a bear but this pier is totally worth visiting. It’s close to many hotels, restaurants and a very short drive down from Wilmington. Enjoy fishing off the pier, shopping in the pier store or walking on the beach at sunset. It’s an awesome place to stop by.

The pier was very cool. We went at 9:00 pm and brought our dog with us, unfortunately pets are not allowed on the pier, but it wasn't a big deal. The gift shop was cute, and admission wasn't too much. Two dollars for adults, and a dollar for kids. Gift shop prices were average for a touristy place, good selection of souvenirs, refrigerator magnets, T shirts, etc.

We didn't go on the pier but this is a lovely stretch of beach and the pier is a nice landmark for pictures. The access has public showers and bathrooms which is very convenient. There was a religious message built into the sand and protected by ropes which seems weird for a public beach but I guess that's just the South.
