Bone & Bean BBQ

Ribs, smoked sausage, and chicken are awesome! Try he pickled jalapeño carrots! Sides dishes were unique, but not my favorite. I think the onions in the green beans were a bit much, but apparently appropriate for Texas style.

Got the ribs which were really well done. Baby back had tons of flavor and the st. Louis is great if you like a leaner cut. They give you a large portion of sides which were all good. Great lunch.

We love this place. The food is exceptional and the service is friendly and attentive. While Wilmington offers several restaurants serving BBQ, Bone and Bean has some menu items the others don't and makes it unique. The portions are very generous as well. You will not be disappointed.

I would love to see some work on the exterior appearance of the property and better signage.

I'd been meaning to try this place for awhile. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The service was very good as well. It's Texas style BBQ, so it is a little bit of a change from the other places in town. The only real drawback, the seating isn't the most comfortable. It's either no back bench style, or tall bar table. They do a brisk carry out business, so it's probably really good for picking up on the way home, as long as you can remember to call far enough ahead.

I loved the brisket sandwich but the sides aren't very good. The only good one is the mac and cheese but they up charge you three dollars if you order that. Wasn't impressed with the ribs. Not a lot of meat and not especially tender either. Don't get the coleslaw or the beans.
