Took a spontaneous road trip to Wilmington during a beach vacation and decided to eat here for lunch. Some of the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. I had a great marg for my birthday too! Totally recommend!

I'm not sure how the wife and I never found this place but it is a gem. The food was amazing the bartender was friendly and attentive even though he was helping run food to other tables he made sure we were taken care of and that our drinks never ran out. We will 100% be back and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good, authentic Mexican cuisine.

Authentic and delicious. Wife loves the margaritas and the beer is always ice cold. Food is as it should be and huge portions.
: Update: I have recently discovered that I can have this delicious food DELIVERED via Surfside express. I mention the name of the delivery company only because it's hot when it gets here and that's important. The food is as good as eating in the restaurant. If ya want extra chips.... NO PROBLEM NO CHARGE. El Cerro Grande you are setting the bar for good food good value and great customer service.

The food was good although I only had two enchiladas and a taco, and the chips were warm and the salsa was good. The tortillas were soft, real cheese used, good enchilada sauce and an ample amount of meat inside.

I like the sweet and sour used in the margarita, and particularly surprised and happy to see Montezuma tequila; although cheap stuff, has a nice flavor, a must try for those who have never tried it.

Is it just me that notices that the prices at restaurants are up almost 80% since the 2008 recession?

Upon exiting the place I felt compelled to yell: underlay underlay, reeba reeba, uh oh what's popping tonight! ????????????????
