Fox's Hole in the Wall

This was a surprising hidden gem in Downtown Wilmington. The ambiance is welcoming as is the staff. We were greeted by our server Christian and the bartender upon entering. The restaurant has a casual feel and is a relaxing environment with a sense of humor as there is a large portrait of the Dos Equis "The most interesting man in the world" behind the bar. The tables, floor, and restroom were all cleaned very well with no visible trash, crumbs, or other debris noted. We ordered the Garlic Parmagan fries and two Smash burgers. The fries were perfectly cooked with no excess oil and were seasoned well. The burgers were amazing! First, the burgers are at a price point lower than other restaurants in the area, only $10. Second, they are the BEST burgers I have gotten in Wilmington flavor-wise. I highly recommend this business. I will most definitely return.

My girlfriend and I came in here on a whim and were absolutely blown away, the atmosphere was comfy and the music was awesome! Olivia was our server who was on point the whole time. The food was absolutely incredible, I had the smash burger and my girlfriend has the Sunday savior, both were just amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone either dinning in or enjoying a drink in downtown Wilmington! I hope this place continues to thrive!

I got the Sunday savior and it was absolutely delicious. Out of all the places we've tried downtown, this was my favorite. It was affordable and delicious, and they played great music. Our waitress was very nice, her name was Olivia, and everything came out awesome. 10/10 recommend!

Pretty good food, isn’t a long wait. I got the full pound Boston Beef. Payed $20.33 with tax included and it didn’t come with anything but the sandwich. Service was ok, only disappointing pay that much for a sandwich and fries aren’t included with the sandwiches.

Stopped by to try something new downtown, and Fox's Hole in the Wall didn't disappoint! The atmosphere was awesome, service and food were great! Pretty good selection of draft/bottle/canned beers/ciders! My fiance got Hoosier Daddy (not pictured because he devoured it) and it was one of the best sandwiches either of us had ever had lol!!
We'll definitely be back!!
