Riverview Cafe

Grew up around the Riverview. Loved the remodel after the storm. Took my girlfriend there when we were in NC and she loved it as well. Best FRESH seafood around hands down

The Riverview Cafe was as outstanding as ever! This was our first visit since they re-opened Hurricane Flo's damage and it was packed. I have been enjoying eating fresh seafood dinners here since I was a little girl in the late 50's and I was as as pleased as ever. Will continue to recommend The Riverview Cafe to all newcomers since it is the very BEST seafood restaurant. BTW, I brought home some homemade lemon and coconut pie for dessert -- YUM!!

This place is great for people on a budget and those looking for a full dinner. You can get a $4 cheese burger or a $20 seafood dinner. That is why I gave this place 5 stars. The food was good. As pictured is the special for $16. Good lunch menu but only M-Sat. Cozy atmosphere with excellent service. Condiments are placed on the table which is nice. Hush puppies come in a basket without a plate. This makes it hard to use sauce. Pretty view of the river hence the name. It would be nice to have outdoor seating.

Riverview Cafe is absolutely amazing! Everyone was incredibly friendly, the food (highly recommend the calamari and fried scallops) was perfect, and the prices are incredible for the amount of food you get for the price that you pay. I will definitely be going here every time I come back to visit Top Sail Beach!

Best seafood you can get in a restaurant. This visit was fried shrimp for myself and grilled shrimp with broiled scallops for the hubby. Make sure you save room for a slice of pie. The best chocolate pie and key lime pie ever! You can't go wrong at Riverview. It's a hidden gem in NC.
