We got the small family pack, which easily fed 4 very hungry adults and 2 kids. The service was great, drinks stayed filled, and the food was fantastic. The best part was the friendly staff. My kiddos were watching them sweep and they asked to help, so Samantha brought out little brooms and was so sweet to my kids. It's so great to find somewhere family friendly! We look forward to our next trip!”

“This place is great for people on a budget and those looking for a full dinner. You can get a $4 cheese burger or a $20 seafood dinner. That is why I gave this place 5 stars. The food was good. As pictured is the special for $16. Good lunch menu but only M-Sat. Cozy atmosphere with excellent service. Condiments are placed on the table which is nice. Hush puppies come in a basket without a plate. This makes it hard to use sauce. Pretty view of the river hence the name. It would be nice to have outdoor seating.”

“I dont think I can say enough about this place. I have only been there a few times for breakfast and it's such an amazing they make you feel at home kind of place. The staff has always been super friendly. The kitchen area always clean. You can watch them prepare your food as you sit unless you are busy watching the pier and photos. The prices and selection of food and the amount served is phenomenal. .... It's a hidden gem on North Topsail. Truly the best breakfast and I'm confident other meals also place to go to.... “Needed a burger fix on our vacation and Fat Burger was the perfect place. We had the nachos to start. The chips were a little soggy but it didn’t matter because with all of the toppings it was delicious. My husband and daughter had the original Fat Burger and I had the Wendy. They were big, filling and delicious. My son had the kids hot dog and Mac and cheese and no complaints there either. Tara L. was the server listed on our receipt and she was very attentive with drink refills and clearing the table. Very polite also. Food arrived very fast.”

“I've always loved this place. It is a good little place in the Ferry that not a lot of people know about. I love the steak and cheese and the hamburgers are good. Love the onion rings and I recently had the shrimp which were great also. It's set up as a 50s style diner/Drive-In. The waitresses have their hair in a old school ponytail...pretty neat.”
