First time dining. Grata is at the old Elmo’s location. Looks so airy now. New floors etc. so you order at the counter and then chose a table and they will bring out your meal. Coffee was good and I love that they have turkey sausage & turkey bacon. I chose to customize an omelet and it was delicious. And for some reason I’m in love with their plain wheat toast - it was crunchy and perfect. I didn’t even bother to butter it up - it was that good. Glad to have a breakfast stop by in that location ♥️
This place is actually better than the restaurant it replaced (Elmo's). The food is consistently good, the servings are great and it is neither too heavy nor too light so it makes a good meal such that I don't feel like I am harming my health while having a nice time out. Also the prices are very reasonable. The accommodation of gluten free needs is great. Very satisfied.
I ate lunch here with my grandmother while she was visiting and we enjoyed it very much. The staff answered all our questions about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. I had the french toast (all day breakfast!!) and it was delicious. It came with a cute glass bottle of maple syrup which they said I could keep. The best part is that they pay their staff above a living wage so they don’t have to rely on tips. They have designated a couple of dishes on the menu to donate all of the proceeds from those items to specific local non-profits which I thought was a neat idea. I was sad when Elmo’s closed but I am pleased to find that Grata Cafe is an excellent successor to that legacy. I will be returning!
Wow, this place is a new gem. A friend and I wanted to get brunch but our normal spots were packed so she suggested Grata Cafe and I'm so glad she did. The food was delicious and I got so much food for a really reasonable price. We stayed chatting for a long time after we finished our food but never felt rushed. In fact, the owner, Jay, welcomed us to stay as long as we wanted and really made us feel comfortable and valued. I'll definitely be back soon.
