“I ate lunch here with my grandmother while she was visiting and we enjoyed it very much. The staff answered all our questions about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. I had the french toast (all day breakfast!!) and it was delicious. It came with a cute glass bottle of maple syrup which they said I could keep. The best part is that they pay their staff above a living wage so they don’t have to rely on tips. They have designated a couple of dishes on the menu to donate all of the proceeds from those items to specific local non-profits which I thought was a neat idea. I was sad when Elmo’s closed but I am pleased to find that Grata Cafe is an excellent successor to that legacy. I will be returning!”
