    Mel's is delicious! I'm a vegetarian, and I love their veggie sandwich, deviled eggs, and side salad. They also have crunchy ice!

    Mel's is one of the very best lunch spots in Carrboro. It is clean and comfortable with a wonderful staff serving delicious, filling meals. Hearty sandwiches served with choice sides as well as specialty dishes (chicken and dumplings, tomato pie) and scrumptious desserts make this a very special place to come back to again and again.
