Nice large open seating area, friendly people, convenient location (depending on where you're going, but it's right next to Cat's Cradle for example). The food I had was very good, but $12 for a sandwich that doesn't even come with fries or chips is not a great deal.
Biggest issue for me was the beer, which I would say ranged from drinkable to just bad. Of the 5 house beers I tried, there were none that I'd be excited about having again. They do have guest taps so maybe try those, but unclear if the issue is with their product or their tap system for example.
I feel bad that I can't give a higher rating because I know they're working hard to make this a great place. A for effort but needs improvement.
We just planned to grab a beer & regroup. We found ourselves in Carrboro needing dinner. The person who we were sharing a table with suggested Vecino menu. It was the right call.
Had the cubano and the hummus.... LOVED IT! No, it was not your traditional Cuban sandwich.... it had smoked pulled pork and it was scrumptiously delicious. I would if liked it with the bread was toasted/ pressed crunchy.... but again it was delicious just the way it was. Great place and friendly staff/environment.
Amazing staff!! Very friendly and personable. Great food, great atmosphere, and a vast selection of beers that changes every time we visit. Highly recommend and can't wait to get back in the summer when the doors are open! Reminds me of a favorite spot in Oregon, glad to have found something right on par in NC. Trivia night is also a blast!! Plenty of board games around as well.
An experience, unlike any other; a wave of relaxation rushes over you, as soon as you walk in...the friendliest staff, I'm willing to bet, that you've ever met. Awesome brews, and I honestly cannot, say enough about the food. The head Chef, Leah, is a true, Master of her Craft, and if you're not eating here.. You Are Missing OUT!!!
